2. The Steele Dossier was originally commissioned by Republican candidates during the primary. It was only later taken up by Democrats.
3. The idea of paying (a lot) for opposition research is to discover disparaging information that is true or strongly indicative. Made-up lies are free. Some portions of the dossier are inaccurate, but for the most part, it is true. (Espionage is not an exact science.)
4. The FISA warrant was not issued against the Trump campaign. It was issued against Carter Page.
5. There is simply no way to justify the rushed release of a Republican memo in the name of transparency unless you also agree to release the minority memo.
6. All of the suspected "deep state" conspirators are Republicans and/or Trump appointees!
7. McConnell and Ryan are slithering through all this by saying that the memo has nothing to do with the Mueller probe, while their president is saying it is a complete vindication! (Hint: It can't be both.)
8. The ENTIRE CONGRESS voted to impose sanctions against Russia and the date for that to occur was last week. No explanation is given for this Executive failure to...ummmm...execute.

11. The memo tells us nothing about how the FISA court made its decision. The total context is missing.
But if a hooker gets beaten up by a thug and then tells the cops that the thug sells drugs on the corner...is she lying? And should the tip be ignored? OR...should it be evaluated and placed into context with many other corroborating tips? (Most of which are likely to come from addicts, criminal competitors, and other hookers as opposed to Nuns, Fishmongers, Astronauts, and College Professors).

(Washington Post...nevermind...it is probably fake news.) Steele is not a hooker who is angry about getting beaten up.
